SR 51 over the Suwannee River (Bridge No. 320019) Scour Evaluation • FPID #442780-1-32-01
Project Summary:
EGS was authorized under our FDOT D2 Geotechnical Districtwide Contract to evaluate the SR 51 bridge over the Suwannee River, as the department was performing a stability evaluation of the existing bridge. As part of this study, EGS was asked to perform geotechnical SPT borings and collect rock core samples, so that the strength of the subsurface rock formations could be determined. This project was completed in June of 2020.
